Alter heading to right.

In order to operate in a small RPA advanced operation environment you must first ?

2
In order to operate in a small rpa advanced operation environment you must first Ensure rpa marked registered with transport canada.

To fly your drone beyond visual line of sight ?

3
To fly your drone beyond visual line of sight You must have a sfoc (special flight operations certificate). Operations during which rpas (the 'drone') operated beyond visual line of sight (bvlos) require a special flight operations certificate (sfoc).

4
In order a manufacturer to meet obligations of their rpas safety assurance declaration he must Update each operator of any mandatory actions in respect of rpas to keep it safely operable. Operations during which rpas (the 'drone') operated beyond visual line of sight (bvlos) require a special flight operations certificate (sfoc).

5
To hand over their responsibilities to another pilot during flight It not necessary to hold a special flight operations certificate (sfoc). 901 42 handovers no pilot shall hand over their responsibilities to another pilot during flight unless before take off or launch of a remotely piloted aircraft (a) a pre arrangement in respect of handover has been made between pilots and (b) a procedure has been developed to mitigate risk of loss of control of aircraft.

6
In case of an autonomous remotely piloted aircraft system what must pilot be able to do Take immediate control of aircraft at any time. 901 32 control of remotely piloted aircraft systems no pilot shall operate an autonomous remotely piloted aircraft system or any other remotely piloted aircraft system which they are unable to take immediate control of aircraft.

7
What the maximum time limit reporting an aviation accident to transport canada There no time limit prescribed in cars 9 49. An accident not reported to tc but to tsb (transportation safety board) cars 901 49 requires that operations be stopped immediately in event of an accident but does not mention reporting accident 901 49 incidents accidents associated measures (1) a pilot that operates a remotely piloted aircraft system shall immediately cease operations if any of following incidents or accidents occurs until such time as an analysis undertaken as to cause of occurrence corrective actions have been taken to mitigate risk of recurrence (a) injuries to any person requiring medical attention (b) unintended contact between aircraft persons (c) unanticipated damage incurred to airframe control station payload or command control links that adversely affects performance or flight characteristics of aircraft (d) any time aircraft not kept within horizontal boundaries or altitude limits (e) any collision with or risk of collision with another aircraft (f) any time aircraft becomes uncontrollable experiences a fly away or missing (g) any incident not referred to in paragraphs (a) to (f) which a police report has been filed or which a civil aviation daily occurrence report has resulted (2) the pilot of remotely piloted aircraft system shall keep make available to minister on request a record of any analyses undertaken under subsection (1) a period of 12 months after day on which record created.

What are two types of operations specific to small remotely piloted aircraft Basic operations advanced operations.

Canadian aviation regulations rac all drones that weigh between 250 g and 25 kg Must be registered with transport canada. All drones or remotely piloted aircraft systems (rpas) with a maximum takeoff weight of 250 grams (g) up to including 25 kilograms (kg) must be registered drones under 250 g do not need to be registered drones over 25 kg also do not need to be registered but require a special flight operations certificate instead benefits of registration if you lose your drone registration may help in returning it to you if it found if there a recall from manufacturer transports canada will be able to notify you.

Division iii general operating and flight rules in uncontrolled airspace minimum visibility flying your drone The one that allows you to conduct entire flight within visual line of sight. 901 34 minimum weather conditions no pilot shall operate a remotely piloted aircraft system unless weather conditions at time of flight permit (a) operation to be conducted in accordance with manufacturer's instructions (b) pilot of system any visual observer to conduct entire flight within visual line of sight.

18
Division iii general operating and flight rules is it possible to fly your drone without having it in visual line of sight and without a visual observer Yes if fly conducted in accordance with a special flight operations certificate (sfoc). 901 11 visual line of sight (1) subject to subsection (2) no pilot shall operate a remotely piloted aircraft system unless pilot or a visual observer has aircraft in visual line of sight at all times during flight (2) a pilot may operate a remotely piloted aircraft system without pilot or a visual observer having aircraft in visual line of sight if operation conducted in accordance with a special flight operations certificate rpas.
